Allan, et all,
First found them at Pep Boys next to the folding Necker's Knobs, just
below the manifold mounted wolf whistle and the Bermuda Bell. I only
bought the Knob, The Bell, and the Whistle for my '41 Ford Convertible.
Don't think they carry any of that good stuff any more, besides, that
wasn't the kind of "tail" I was looking for then.
The one I finally bought is really Jay's. I bought it for him at Toys R
Us when Davy Crockett was a new TV show. Came with a hat. Not sure there
are any left in stock. Maybe Jay will trade for a MkII grille for his
Alpine, or some NOS VIN rivets.
