The point you keep missing is, all the great marques recognize a car by
its documentation.If you have the VIN, serial number or other papers it
is what it is! There may not be any original parts on the car,(quite
common) but it is recognized as the real thing. TAC is limiting the
preservation of the Tiger by not considering Alpine body restorations as
the real thing.
