Never had to deal with the thing, but here's how I'd do it. Remove
the plastic failure switch, center the piston, and screw in a bolt
that has been shaped so that it would hold the piston on center.
There's a groove in the sliding piston that the switch probe sits in.
When the slide moves one way or t'other, the probe is pushed in, and
the light comes on.
Just a thought.
