Frank,
I think you need a draw on the genny to make volts.... Also a genny
that has been sitting for a long time may need to be "polarized" to
produce volts. Remember "flicking" the positive wire from the
battery to the post on the genny? Man are we getting old........ I
remember doing that as a matter of course on a few of my first
cars......
I also think the speed of the impact might be too slow.
