"Is it the mixture nut"? Sure. What else would it be!?? <VBG> Looking down into the engine compartment, at the carb, reach underneath the carb and turn and turn the mixt. nut CW to weaken. No more than 1 "flat" at a time, Mike. 1/2 "flat" is even better. If this doesn't solve the situation, the problem is elsewhere. You can only go so weak before you get "lean-surge" when "feathering" the gas peddle at cruise. The correct adjustment is given in the book, of course. Cap'n Bob '60 Frog |
