948 Sprite MK1 with single HS2 SU carb. Has a weird problem. Most of the time it runs fine but sometimes it takes for ever to idle down and then it will keep idleing down below 500 RPM and die. No vacum leaks. Check throttle and nothing is binding. Throttle return spring is good. Is the mixture too rich which causes the car to die? Could the float bowl cause this? Too much gas from the float bowl? thanks Mike Your messages not reaching the list?
