IT WORKSI now have a Proliant 6500 server with over almost 4 gigs of
ram, 260gb of data storage, CD burner, tape backup, 5 disk cd rom drive
(Nakamichi 5 cd changer in a regular height drive), two RAID 5 arrays
and six other drives for misc files up and running in my garage. Not
bad for free!!! I took the parts that a guy gave me and literally
figured out how to assemble it, configure everything and install MS
Windows 2000 server. It is plugged into my DSL router and I can access
it through the wireless hub. Not bad for a dummy:) that knows crap
about servers, and half blind to boot. Almost as much fun as putting
together Iris (my bugeye). Now the question is what else can I make it
do :) and to figure out how to quiet it down some. Those dang redundant
fans make a lot of noise with the air they move.

Required LBC content. Took Iris around the block today. Needs the
carbs adjusted a little and the wiper motor fixed but its coming along.
With the break from school over the Christmas holidays I am going to tie
up some of the loose ends on her, one major cleaning, and under wraps
she goes for a while.

OH yea, I forgoteven blasted the frame and legs of my table saw,
painted them (same color of gray as Iris's conertible top frames) and
oiled everything up on itIt has been a verrrrryyyy busy day.LOLJust
de-stressing from this semester and the wife's chemotherapy treatments.
