Sorry this is kinda late, but I just found it. I know you have 2 new bushes
coming, but I found this on MiniMania's web site:
Up untill the later 1275cc engines all the cranks in the Sprites and Midgets
use a bronze bushing in the end of the crank to support the input chaft of
the trans. The outside diameter of this bush (10M131) is .625". The later
1275cc engines use an actual roller bearing that has a OD of .750" It is a
very good idea to replace the pilot bearing (AHU1026) in the end of the
crankshaft while you have the clutch off; this will save wear on the input
shaft and bearings.
