I first noticed it using a dwell tach while doing a tune-up. Wasn't sure
which instrument was off. Then when I ran it up on the dyno, the dyno guy
pointed out the discrepency between his computer monitor "tach" on the
screen and my gauge.

how do KNOW it reads higher?.... that is, what did you use to
measure the RPMS? or is it a difference in speed/rpms?
