I have the same problem with the tach in my Lotus 7- it was working much better before I had the engine rebuilt and the Pertonix ignition fitted- Any issues with Pertonix and tach accuracy? Jac David L. wrote: John Deikis runs a stock tach in his racecar and told me that he recently found it wildly inaccurate. Even though you may have calibrated it at a certain engine speed (I would suggest at least 3000 rpm) it may be inaccurate at other speeds. --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
