Tach Revisited

Hello spridgets,

              ok.. i changed back to the stock coil, car runs great,
              but the tach reads WAY high.. it actually seems to react
              with the speed of the motor, but shows 3200 at idle, and
              quickly pegs out... the connections on the coil are
              tight, (those pesky little rivets are just fine)...

              any suggestions?... anything in the archives?
