My convertible Gt6 project is nearing completion. Prior to placing
(hopefully my last) vendor order, I thought I would approach the list with
my need for some final bits and pieces. My budget is blown and perhaps some
of these items are consuming space in someones garage.
1.) 1500 Spit windshield I need this because of Joe Currys submission
on the spitfire tips web page. He neglected to specifically state Ed, do
not use a rubber mallet in lieu of an assistant.
2.) 1500 Spit Hand brake cable (Rimmer part #159372). I have a new one
for a Mk3 Gt6 (149353) if anyone needs one.
3.) 1500 Spit Interior Wheel arch and < panel trim kit (Rimmer
#RL1450Black)
4.) 1500 Spit factory hardtop glass seal (Rimmer #911040)
5.) 1500 Spit hardtop headliner in black
6.) 1500 Spit Steering coupler bushings (8)
7.) 1500 Spit steering coupler (special) bolts need one, will take all
four.
8.) Gt6 Mk3 overdrive speedo cable (Rimmer #GSD115)
9.) Gt6 Mk3 bonnet badge
10.) Gt6 Mk3 number plate lamp assembly (Rimmer #718028)
11.) 1500 Spit Chrome domed head screws (dash support to floor, Rimmer
#624818)
12.) Gt6 Mk3 Tach (rev counter) Rimmer #215044
13.) Gt6 Mk3 Tach cable (Rimmer #144370
14.) Approx. eight gallons of fuel Its $1.97 here :-)
I have a fair amount of spares as well so, perhaps some horse
trading/swaps is in order.
