I am sure the engineers responsible for the OD wiring cringed when they were
told to do it...
It seems a daft idea to me. I much preferred the set-up in the MG BGT I had
before with a switch on the dash, which could be reached by my little finger
without moving my hand from the steering wheel. Am I right in thinking that
earlier Spits had a column stalk for the O/D? Again, MUCH easier to reach
and, therefore, use, I would imagine.
