Get a cheap grease gun (the mini size ones are good).
Remove the plunder assembly and plug up the back
end of the cylinder, where the plunger was, with epoxy,
a bit of plastic, etc.   The pour some oil in it and
pump away at the grease nipples.  If you have no
grease nipples on the trunnions, install some and
leave them in place.  For some stupid reason,
the cars came with little plugs that you were
supposed to remove, replace with the nipples, and
put back after lubricating.

BTW, store the modified grease gun carefully so
the oil doesn't all leak out.  I have had such
a gun for about 9 years, and once a year I take
it off the nail in the wall of my garage and
oil the trunnions.
