It was certainly an enjoyable show - lots of classic cars of every
description to drool over - including a certain Mr Willcocks gorgeous
Spit.

It was a joy to meet fellow listers - I only wish I could have stayed
and talked for longer - my little brother (another car fanatic) was ill
the day before and getting a little restless by the time we met up.

Now for the questions:

Gadget Numero One: The Fuel Cat - a gauze slug with metal (lead?)
pellets inside. You drop it in your tank and it allows you to use
unleaded. It only costs #30 and seems far too good to be true. But an
incredible saving if it works.

Gadget Numero Two: The Spitfire - No not the car we all love - But a
little cylindrical thing that goes between coil and distributer - making
an amazing 5 sparks instead of just one. Allegedly boosting power - and
efficiency. Also too good to be true. This one costs #45...

Anyone ever had any experince with these devices?
