It is the norm for eBay purchases not to be despatched until payment is
received (which came as a surprise to me when I first started buying on
eBay). You may well feel that you have reason to be disgruntled if the
seller is known to you, but what you are actually getting upset about is
the fact that he (or she) is not prepared to make an exception in your
case. It is quite possible that this seller has had problems in the
past, and therefore you should not feel personally insulted.
Don't sweat it.
