Really sorry to hear about your "incident", but very glad that you've come out
of it ok.
I can understand why that you're reconsidering your priorities, but I want to
add my name to the list of people who hopes you won't sell the Spitfire. It's
sad that so many enjoyable things in life have such a great risk attached to
them. I can only speak for myself, I'm sure your priorities aren't the same
as mine, but I know that the enjoyment far outweighs the risk to me. And it
can never be possible to completely eliminate all of the risk from our lives -
we'd drive ourselves mad if we tried.

It is a sobering thought that if a Lincoln Navigator was in the
oncoming lane, I'd probably be a drawer right now with a toe tag.
I'm seriously wondering if after 20+ years of daily driving in
a spit, I've pushed my luck to critical levels.
