Steering column knuckle joints are not too expensive, not hard to replace
either. There are two clamp bolts on the knuckle itself that need to be
removed, plus you need to remove the clamp that allows steering wheel reach
adjustment (on the steering column somewhere near where your knees are) so
the column can be withdrawn slightly to allow the joint to come out.
