I really don't use many solvents. Acetone, goop off
(citrus oil based) and paint stripper, are the extent
of what I regularly use.

The Aircraft stripper contains Methylene Chloride &
Methanol, and should do the trick. But it may only
take off a small depth of it at a time. It's about $9
a quart. I should also mention it is highly caustic to
skin and has been shown to cause skin cancer in lab
mice when left near skin too long. You also have to
use a mask as the vapors are also quite damaging as
well.
