Len,

If you strip the carbs down to the bodies and ship them with the old
throttle shafts and butterflies to Joe Curto in college point queens,  he'll
have them back to you in about a week with oversized shafts, and new
poppetless butterflies for about $100 plus shipping.  Other may comment on
this,  but if I were you I would install HS4's on a '79 1500, not HS2's.
john esposito at quantum mechanics in CT has the HS4's with throttle linkage
and intake for about $175.  The stock UK exhaust manifold is about $75 extra
or so.  I have a header, so I didn't purchase that.
