In my defense, it had the drivetrain in it when I got it, and was much too
cut up to put back to original. So it's just going to be very fast instead.
Besides which there's always been a fine tradition of putting American V8s in
British cars, i.e. Cobra, Tiger, TVR Griffith, Jensen Interceptor, and even
some MGB GTs though technically that was a Rover engine by then. In any
case, the car is still recognizable as a Triumph and on the road, it could be
one of the many that have been crushed or allowed to rust into oblivion.
