On my fill-up last night, I had driven 233 miles on a tank and filled up with
5.73 Imperial gallons. That works out to an impressive 40.7 MPG! All highway
driving. I love this carb.

I do have a problem. The carb will over-rev between shifts and sometimes when
starting. The instructions that came with the manifold showed attaching a spring
from the throttle cam to the fender. That is OK with a MG Midget, but impossible
with the Spitfire. How do you mount your spring?
