Hi Ken,
That movie is high on our family's list of All-time Worst Movies. If your son
watched the whole thing, it is possible that you could sue NBC for damages
and lost time. We didn't catch it this time, but, I seem to recall that it
was a TR-6 or earlier model, not the wedge-shaped TR-7. Forgive me if I'm
wrong.
Elsewhere on TV and movies, the 1981 Bill Murray Army send-up, "Stripes" has
a scene where John Larroquette drives a very sharp Carmine Red Spitfire into
the warehouse where their tank/RV was stored. It's a very brief appearance,
as most of these car cameos are.
