group 44 spit

Matt at Brooklands British in Tacoma, WA. was selling
a '71 spit a couple of years ago that he claimed was
the original group 44 car for that seeason.  

Since it was a '71, He said it didn't qualify at the
time for vintage racing and he was selling it for
$25K, just restored.  Pictures of it were printed in
the TSSC magazine a year of two ago.
