Thanks to all who offered advice on replacing clutch master cylinders at
reasonable prices.
Today I found two Austin Cambridges at a wreckers and removed both
cylinders. Cost - $17CDN each, including $5 core charge.
Now for those who are interested:
If you damage the aluminum top to your clutch reservoir, it can be
replaced by a Volvo brake reservoir cap. Fits perfectly, its plastic so
won't bind, comes in black or white. Of course it has nice Swedish
writing on it so long as you're not a stickler for British originality.
