I am not certain as to the performance increase aspect however, the fellows
locally who have made this change report excellent results with a system the
looks stock and is all recent manufacture. From what I know of it, the
entire distributor is replaced with a late model Japanese one thus
eliminating our problems of old worn out distributors and the relatively
high cost of replacement. I have contacted the chap who is responsible for
this mod to see if he will post his name and address on the list for all to
see - he was charging about $7.00 (Can) for a set of instructions but don't
know for sure what the case is now. Will keep the list informed though.
