Hi Steve
I use 20w50 from Duckham's, actually called Duckham's Q and is one of the
original recommended for the range of Triumphs that I have and in fact all
the Triumphs previous too, including the 1296 (1300) for the herald Which is
the same basic engine as the Spit, just not as highly tuned.
