Hi All
I just filled her up and my mileage was 24.6 mpg up from 18mpg. Tail
pipes are looking cleaner. It is getting there. I'll keep working at it
Atwell.

I've been driving my Spit With a gallon gas can in the trunk. I've run
the tank dry to see where the gauge reads when Empty. I still showed a
little over a 1/4. Any thoughts on this appreciated.

Fortunately , I was about an 1/8 of a mile from an Exxon station and was
able to sputter in . Put in 8.437 Gallons. Definitely Dry.

Now for the interesting part. I always use Texaco premium. This is the
first time I used Exxon Premium. The Spitfire ran NOTICEABLY Better. I
know on long trips I took with my guzzling van, that I had better gas
mileage when I filled up with Exxon Fuel. (Something to investigate)
Lets see what kind of mileage I get with this tank.

THnx
Pat
