Those are the figures on the Log Book and I checked with the numbers on the
car. They match.

It is the only FD16* on the International Spitfire Database
http://home1.gte.net/spitlist/ but I made sure it was a 6 not a 5 way back
when I first checked. The car was first registered 21 June 1968 but Joe
tells me it's a very late 1967 model.

I do want to contact the BHIMT sometime to see if they can tell me any more
about it. I guess I'm even more curious now.
