Hi everyone. I went to install my new three-point harnesses today after
getting the carpets in and ran into a snag. The passenger side had a
non-stock bolt in the rear wheel well that came out with a bit of coaxing
and oil. The original crome-headed bolt on the driver's side is NOT coming
off. I tried my socket wrench and because the head of the bolt is so thin,
I had a hard time applying a lot of force without the socket coming off it.
I even resorted to a pipe wrench at one point, but could only move the head
about a quarter turn or less. All together, I've managed to move it maybe
half a turn, but it;s very, very tight. For now, I've shot a bit of
Silkroil in there and waiting until tomorrow to make another run at it.
Anyone been down this road before?
Best wishes,
Jeff in San Diego
