Greetings, fellow Listers;

First the question, then the fun stuff.

This may have been covered in the past. My parts car came with one of the
molded plastic dash overlays (unused) but no glue or instructions. For
those that have installed them, what type of glue did you use? Contact
cement or weather-strip glue comes to mind. Also, is seems that it would
make sense to remove the de-misting vents, tonneau pins, etc. and replace
them after the overlay was installed. Is this correct?

With record temperatures and a COMPLETE lack of snow (a bit odd for March in
Minnesota) I decided I could wait no longer. I spent yesterday morning
finishing off the new exhaust, new starter, and making sure everything was
ready. Pull the choke, hit the key, and it was running. Guess I did the
right stuff when I stored it last fall. A few more checks, and off we went.
With temps near 70 predicted today, I'm planning to do it some more. Life
is good.
