Black plastic Dash

Hi All
    Must be Email day :-}

    I just got a black plastic dash off ebay for my 74.  My wood one is
just seperating apart so this is a good temporary replacement until I
really restore the 74.  My question is, Was the Plastic dash a factory
standard or option?  Or is this dash an aftermarket replacement?
