Hi Terrence
I have always thanked my lucky stars that I had no more power than a stock
1300 Herald and that the handling could out perform the engine ( the most
important factor) as I managed to find enough trouble without more power and
speed. I think you are possibly right about a Spit unless he has awesome
self control and no buddies egging him on!! As always it's not" how fast
will it go" but "how fast can it stop" that counts!

Ps only started on fast cars (always Triumph) at 25!
