I'm thinking gear oil for starters.  Clutch doesn't sound likely at the
moment.  Usually the wrong oil is too thick and its hard to shift when cold.
But yours getting hard when hot is a little puzzling.  Maybe the gear oil is
low.  I've seen many odd trans problems sorted with a simple gear oil
change.  Buy the best you can get and try that - such as RedLine.  Its
cheaper than pulling and replacing anything else!
