If you are in a gymnastic sort of mood, look in the foot wells. In both ,
in the upper outer corner towards the fire wall, there is a small shelf that
can hold the 6X9 boxes that everyone else has mentioned. I've found some
surface mount, tear drop looking things that I plan to put back there. The
only advantage this has over putting them in back of the seats is that it
would take a pretty involved thief to find and steal the speakers. The
disadvantage is that unless you enjoy crawling headfirst into your foot
wells, they are there on a permanent basis Personally, I'm installing the
cheapest alarm system they will let me carry out of the store. (They must
make a fortune on installations!) Then I will install a microwave motion
sensor under the carpet just forward of the handbrake console or behind the
wooden dash. Finally, I'm going to leave my door locks disconnected.
Hopefully these measures will protect my top and belongings .
