Hey Chip-it's not as bizarre as all that. My stepfather was driving from CA
to NV to a meeting a few years back. He was on a deserted road in the desert
and so he hoped to make some good time. Well, there was a cop-and Dad passed
him-2am, deserted road and all. This gut got really ticked and gave Dad a
ticket-for passing him! Dad went to court and showed in the rule book that
the speed limit was as posted or as safe as for conditions-and he got off.
And that cop was sooo ticked. It seems no one had ever passed him before!

I don't worry so much about speeding tickets as I do about male (car)
envy-hey! When you're a chick driving a little convertible with the top
down-some guys in their family cars can't take it. Maybe they need to get a
hobby?

Keep drivin' fast and brakin' hard!
