I have the same problem as Sam. I was just getting ready to pull my engine
and in the process took the slave cylinder out. The cap is messed up just
like his. I have been leaking fluid since I got the car but never had the
chance to check the slave yet. When I purchased the car the DPO (the "P" does
stand for previous) said that he had just rebuilt the slave, thanks alot. Is
there any way to get a new cap for this or do I have to buy a hole new
cylinder just for the cap. The rebuild kit obviously does not have one in it.
Just for future reference is there a way to get this cap off without
destroying it? The Haynes manual just says to remove it but does not go into
any more detail.
