Jim,
Where are you located? I doubt I can be of help, as I am in the middle of
Texas. High of 88 here today, no need for heat!
Peace,
Pat

Subject: [Shop-talk] Radiant heat for garage
After 18 months of hoop-jumping, we finally have a building permit for a new
garage/cabana and I would like to add radiant heat to both the garage and
the cabana space. (The cabana is about 30% of the ground floor and will
occasionally double as guest space and will need additional heat for the
second floor.) I have been reading up on radiant systems and know I will
only have one chance to get the tubing layout and installation right when
the concrete is poured. Can anyone here recommend a company for me to work
with? Someone who can help me with the design (or, preferably, do that for
me) and supplies? I will want to get everything needed for the pipe
installation first, and then buy the heater, etc. later.
Any advice on this project will be much appreciated.
Jim
