> In general, they require an external air source. Need a fair amount of air, too. The unit Moose bought requires "50-75 psi @ 3.5 cfm" which is more than my "2.5hp" compressor would deliver continuously. (Meaning to run this unit, I would have had to wait for the tank to fill, then only be able to cut for a few minutes before stopping to wait for it again.) -- Randall |
