[Shop-talk] DC power supplay for home plating

Guys:
At the very least, does a place like Radio Shack sell a DC power supply unit
that converts ac to dc then puts out the same volts as 2 D's ??? If not too
expensive, this would be a bit more reliable then the Batterys plus allow
alittle experimenting with a little higher voltages. Any thoughts ??
