there's no nylon block, and I didn't find the remains of one, but when I
googled it, I saw a kit to add a nylon rider to a door, but it said that was
for use when you couldn't get replacement rollers. I'd prefer to replace the
rollers...
I think that's what I'm trying to determine--anybody ever heard of a door
without rollers? the home depot guy said all sliding glass doors were made
with rollers...but I haven't had much luck with that home depot having the best
staff before...
the felt actually *looks* in pretty good shape--it seems to be more a
weatherstrip idea and it's recessed in the door suck that it doesn't really
contact anything. the door panel (?--the part surrounding the glass) is
actually grinding against the frame (the track on the floor) and it's not
looking well. I'm pretty sure the manufacturer didn't intend for that to
happen.
