Try calling a locksmith to see what they charge for field-service 
calls.  The wife lost the one key to her Miata last year while 
visiting relatives 7 hours away.  The 'smith charged like $70 to come 
out,  but picked / reverse-engineered the lock and punched her 3 keys 
for it.  Not a bad deal really.
