It's a matter of choosing to live in the right area.
I have an uncle that lives in a community with the most draconian
covenants I've ever seen. It's a multi-volume set of thousands of pages
of restrictions and regulations. He loves it. Everything is just
perfect there. So he's happy as can be living under those rules.
I don't like covenants, so I carefully chose to live in an area that
does not have them.
People who want to live under tight rules should be able to. Fie on
the fool who doesn't check the laws when they move into a community. I
have the same amount of pity for people that move in next to an airport
and are shocked that planes fly over their house.
