I should clarify what I meant about the "custom" work that Backyard Buddy
did on my lift. The right platform was moved to the inside 6" and new
holes were drilled for the bolts. The retaining clips for the right 
access ramp were repositioned and welded in place. The jack bridges did
have to be welded with a 6" narrower profile to fit between the ramps. I
can accomodate larger cars by unbolting the right platform and sliding it
over to the original bolt holes. The ramp will sit on its own support 
without the retaining clips. The only drawback is that the custom
jackbridges will not work. In its narrow 39" configuration, I have had
Cadillac Eldorados, Jeep Cherokees, etc on the lift with no problem. If
you had a full size pickup truck, such as a Ram, you would have to move
the right platform out to its original full width. I hope this helps.....
