My Cytech lift is 37" between ramps. If I get my Healey
perfectly centered on the ramps, which I rarely do, I have
3" between the inside of the tire and the edge of the ramp.
I find that this is a pretty good margin for error.
One extra note: If you have a care with very low clearance,
consider getting the longer angled ramps. I find that I have to
put a 2x8 under the driver's side ramp plus another 2x8 on the
main ramp in order to get my muffler to clear.
