Bit late now perhaps, but I have had the same problem with a Leyland A-series in my Midget. After breaking my 1/2" extension bar and still not moving it I decided I would have to drill it out. Starting with a 6mm drill bit I drilled down the middle. For some reason I tried to move it. Absolutely no problem!! I think removing a bit from the middle slackened the pretension in the bolt and allowed it to free. (Bolt Dia. around 3/4") Neil |
