For those who have the six-cylinder post-war engine, I have just got the
first electronic ignition conversion kit for these cars made by Lumenition.
If you want one, also specify that you will need 'Technical Bulletin No.
6' - this is how to wire for positive earth cars and you might find it
off-putting to fit a Lumenition system that is stamped with 'Negative Earth
Only' unless you have the instructions from the horse's mouth to ignore
this warning!
I shall let you know how it functions; but oh what joy not to have to
fiddle with two pairs of points any longer!
