I didn't know that.  The only guy I've discussed the V-8 swap with moved the
whole works backward to make it fit.  I'm betting the 292 would require
moving something to make it fit...

The only reason to move the engine back is to use an engine mounted fan or
a puller electric. 4.3 mounts and a push fan and the v-8 sit in there real
pretty.
