Sending a message to the mailing list of 850+ people is a rather poor way
to check if you have a virus in your system. Next time, send a private
message to the victim of your choice.

Besides, I have the list set to drop all attachments, and block MIME/HTML
formatted messages so the likelyhood of a virus going through the list is
almost nil.

One of the only ways to get a virus from a list member is if they included
your email address separately from the oletrucks address. And then of
course you would have to open the attachment and run the application.

It's ironic that my ISP was taken down this weekend from spammers
considering how much effort I put in CAUCE and legislation to stop them.
On Dec 14th teleport.com began processing thousands of extraneous email
messages from a spammer attempting to take down their system. Mail has
been sluggish and messages have been bounced for three days. It's starting
to clear up now.

On the oletruck front, I went to start up the ole noisemaker for the first
time in a couple weeks (trips and weather permitted no time) and found a
low battery, even with the cut-off switch. Must have been the sub-freezing
weather of late. I plopped on the trickle charger and after an hour or so,
got a green light that the battery was fully charged.

Still no start. I had to end up rolling down the hill below my shop and
popping the clutch to get it to start. Ran for about 20 minutes, then shut
off and restarted just fine. Kinda strange, and hard to triage.
