Hey all,
Rust Converter! Finally a topic I know something about. I love the
stuff. I have used Napa brand, Dupli Color Brand, Naval Jelly Brand, Mar-
Hyde brand and several other brands of the spray on kind. These come in an
aerosol cans. I'm not sure about down the road but this stuff turns the
rust to black. It says you don't have to top coat it, but I do it any way.
It works relatively fast compared to some of the phosphoric stuff. This
stuff is called rust neutralizer and/or rust converter. I'm not sure if
there is a difference. I tried the bush on stuff and it wasn't really worth
the mess. It dried "globy." This could have been my own stupidity or the
product. The aerosol stuff runs $4-$6 a can.
Hope this helps,
